Russell is a decorated combat veteran of the Vietnam war, loves to fish, cook, and front his popular blues band, that is much in demand at local clubs, casinos, parties, and festivals.

Russell is a barbecue fanatic, and loves to torch up his big smoker with wood from his property such as cherry, apple, and pecan. When he has friends over, he has been known to load the smoker with racks of baby back ribs, brisket, pork roast, and a big turkey. C'est bon!
When not barbecuing, Russell can often be found in the kitchen, whipping up seafood gumbo or a jambalaya to die for. Or, as pictured above, fishing in the huge swamp just east of here.
